IIT-Madras invites applications for BS degree programmes

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has opened applications for the next batch of the four-year BS in Data Science, Applications, and Electronic Systems. These two programmes make high-quality education accessible and inexpensive to anyone interested in pursuing a degree at IIT Madras. Data Science and Electronics Systems are the two fields with the most job prospects, and they are expected to continue to grow over time.

With India poised to become a global leader in semiconductor chip manufacturing, this sector is expected to provide significant employment possibilities. The BS in Electronic Systems programme is excellently suited to producing the graduates that this industry wants.

The deadline to apply for the subsequent batch is May 26, 2024. Interested students can apply online at study.iitm.ac.in/ds and study.iitm.ac.in/es.

These programmes offer two entry points for interested candidates. Students can enter the programme through a self-contained qualifying process without taking the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The second option is direct admission for individuals who have qualified to take the JEE Advanced 2023 or 2024. Students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are eligible for scholarships worth up to 75%.
