IIT Delhi Introduces Project Management Online Certificate Course

On March 14, the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD) began accepting applications for an online Project Management credential programme. Interested students can apply for this course at IIT Delhi's official website, iitdelhi.emeritus.org.

• The deadline to apply for this course is March 19, and shortlisted students will be notified of their selection by March 26.
• This course will run for six months, with technical orientation on May 30 and academic orientation on June 9. The programme price is Rs 85,000 including GST. The primary mode of study for this programme is weekly live online sessions with IIT Delhi academic members.
• Candidates applying for this course must be graduates (10+2+3) from a recognised institution (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government/accredited international universities) in any field. They should also hold a diploma in any field of engineering.
• The evaluation shall be at the discretion of the IIT Delhi faculty. The programme will feature quizzes, projects, case studies, and issues for recent graduates and early professionals pursuing a career in project management.
• Managers with no formal project management qualification who want to learn and gain project management and scheduling skills, consultants who want to absorb the latest project management tools and techniques to suggest pioneering project management solutions to their clients and master the art of delivering projects on time.
• Entrepreneurs and investors interested in adopting project management principles to efficiently allocate resources, identify profitable possibilities, and redesign existing business processes.
• Participants who score at least 50% on the evaluation components and maintain at least 60% attendance in both lectures and tutorials will get a completion certificate. Those who do not score 50% in the evaluation components will be eligible for a participation certificate provided they attend at least 60% of the lectures and tutorials.
• A one-day campus visit may also be arranged for participants upon request. Boarding and lodging expenses will be borne by the candidates.
