IIM Bangalore, FPSB India to jointly launch executive financial planning programme

On March 28, the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FPSB India, a financial planning standards board, to establish an executive education curriculum in financial planning.

This new course, created by IIM Bangalore and FPSB India, aims to improve the country's financial education and professional development landscape. The training will be developed for working professionals and students in response to the increased need for advanced financial planning education. This programme will use the experience of both universities to provide comprehensive learning to suit the industry's increasing needs.

Both schools will work together on joint activities, such as workshops, seminars, and conferences, to promote information exchange and networking opportunities for professionals and students. Various projects are being implemented to enhance financial literacy, advance research, and meet the changing needs of the personal finance industry.

FPSB India will also offer five merit-based scholarship programmes to help eligible applicants develop the skills, knowledge, and certification required for a successful career as a certified financial planner professional.
