S.V. Polytechnic College, Bhopal (formerly S.V. Government Polytechnic), is one of the leading polytechnic in the State of Madhya Pradesh. S. V. Polytechnic College, Bhopal was established in 1953 and began offering diploma courses. The institution has been named after the great Indian leader Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. The college has been the vanguard of continuous development in technical education since its inception. Considering the expertise and facilities developed over the years, excellence and achievements in regard to standards of education and its overall curricular and technical developments, the institution has been granted autonomy by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The growth of the institution has been sustained by the technogical support from international community such as USSR, UK, Germany and World Bank. The institution is very well placed to plan, organise and implement effective programmes for students and other target groups.
