IIT Bombay And Madras Cooperate With FedEx And Receive A $10 Million Grant

FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., has cooperated with the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Bombay and Madras. FedEx, a multinational express delivery firm, has pledged a corporate social responsibility donation of USD 10 million to the two IITs.
This programme will help to construct a globally acknowledged "Centre of Excellence" (CoE) on both IIT campuses, strategically positioned within physical infrastructure. This CoE will lead research and development while also cultivating a dynamic talent pool, supporting fellowship programmes for Master's and PhD students, and aggressively catalysing the expansion of India's startup ecosystem.
The primary focus of this collaboration will be on addressing the complexities of cross-border logistics through innovation and the seamless integration of digital intelligence.
